Shilpa Joshi, the young singing sensation from Himachal Pradesh is rocking the world on her voice and making her state proud .

Her family comprises her father RP Joshi and her elder sister Shipra Joshi who is an Advocate and her dog named Whiskey. She lost her mother when she was just 2 years old . But she always believed in her father and even she quoted that “Her father is the most eligible mother.” Her father always supported her in each and every step of her life.

She went to National Public School and later GSSS Parwanoo for her matriculation. She completed her higher education from Chandigarh. Shilpa Joshi did her graduation from HP University. it came as no surprise when she took up the job in the corporate sector. She has more than 6 years of work experience .

Since her childhood days she had always dreamt of being a Singer but she had never prioritized the same. Naseebo Lal and Asha Ji has been her biggest motivation. She has always been too shy to manifest what she really wanted to pursue but she was unambiguous the way she wanted to finish her studies and post that she could take her career as a Singer forward. She was very passionate about her studies. Unlike other students who opted for sports, Shilpa chose to participate in speaking competitions in which she went up to national level also. Shilpa accumulated as many as 8 certificates of merit. Being deeply involved in her studies, it came as no surprise when Shilpa took up the job in Corporate Sector. However, her love for her job was soon overtaken by the love for her music.

She quoted There’s no half-singing in the shower, you’re either a rock star or an opera diva. She was very patient and calm because the wait has made it worthwhile when she had signed ‘Pehla Pyaar’, her first single which was presented and labelled by Zee Music Company and Later Her Song Hostel
